Great pub. Beer is great.

We are here in Germany for 4 weeks. We love German food, weisswurst and pretzel. But lunch today at Wirtshaus zum Hotzenplotz was the best meal we had since we are here! Nice place, extra good food. Excellent beers and finally a place in Germany with draft dunkel beers. Advised for tourists and not.

Unfortunately, the food was sidelined, (upper floor next to the toilet) service did not come by often. Also not so good in terms of cleaning. Food was good.

As always, very good, corona rules well implemented - well ventilated. Service and beer outstanding!

We've been coming regularly since 2015 - it's kind of like our local bar. Price performance is great. The service is friendly, courteous and ready to have fun. The food is delicious. You won't get two schnitzel with spaetzle anywhere in the same quality at this price. Lovingly furnished with the theme of Hotzenplotz and cozy. The mood is always good. A place for young and old.

Great price-performance ratio! Great quality. Flexible with change requests, as far as possible. If something is not feasible, you will be informed in a friendly manner. Daily meal Monday to Friday while stocks last! Always happy to come back!

Hotzenplotz has been my favorite bar for many years. Old and young are sociable here. The staff is very attentive and friendly. PEOPLE COMING IN !!!

Great food for a very very fair price. They have something for everyone's whises! Staff is also very friendly. Little piece of advice; they don't take cards, only cash! A big recommendation if you want good (and a lot) food for a good price!

Ate here very royally for a pleasant price. I can recommend it with a clear conscience If you go to eat there: order a salad with it .. the sauce is awesome

Hotzenplotz discovered on the Internet. Were there on July 19, 2020 to eat. Super friendly staff very good and cheap food. Better than any restaurant in and around Königstrasse. We will definitely be back Greetings from Schallstadt (near Freiburg) Christian

Very nice staff, food was okay, there was also a lot of choice. Rustic and nicely decorated on the inside. Is also very suitable for something to drink in the evening!

Recommendable. Very nice young staff. Very well attended, had to wait a bit. Reservations recommended for 4 or more people. Parking space in the surrounding streets not found, parking garage nearby. We were there for dinner for two, but celebrating with friends / in a group is also very comfortable there. Nicely furnished rooms, as it should be for a robber's cave.

The service was very friendly and courteous. In summer you can sit comfortably outside. The food is nothing special. But the price is also appropriate. The price performance therefore fits again. But when I go out to eat, I prefer something that I can't do at home or that is too much effort. But of course it's a personal opinion.

Rustic decor, good food, good prices, friendly service. The only thing you could change would be the cobwebs on the ceilings. Visit is worthwhile.

Completely delicious. I can't say a single bad thing about the food or the beer, both was perfect. They have English speaking and friendly personnel and also an English version of menu, which was very helpful. You have to wait a bit for the food in the evening, but nothing terrible. The prices were pretty friendly for Germany, even for students.

What a nice tavern, friendly and attentive service, food damn hot and very good, drinks cool and tasty. So come by and pay something for everyone.

The food was correct for the price. It is a place for students where people go to have some beers in the night. They were gentle but the service was a bit slow and you only can pay by cash. No gluten free beer available. Kitchen was open until 23:00h what was nice for us as we arrived late.

It's epic! The reviews did not disappoint. Really the right place. There is an easy disposed hubbub. Cozy atmosphere. Waiters and bartenders work quickly and do not strain. Well done! Tipping is not a pity - well-deserved. Now about beer. Tried all the draft. I liked N2 and N3 (see the photo menu). Guinness - with an excess of burnt sugar, the rest is just a decent German beer. Food. Yes! Portions are rather big. Garnish - French fries (not overcooked!) And a plate of lettuce. Meat was taken steak with mushroom sauce and escalope. Delicious! You can repeat it!

Awesome place, waiters are super nice and speak perfect English so you don't be afraid to give it a go even if you're just in Stuttgart for a short visit, i went alone and was kinda unsure about going as you often are when dining alone if you're not used to it but as soon as the waiters spoke to me i felt immediately at ease and had a great time there, highly recommend.
